The Wizard's House

The branches of the trees cracked under our feet. We made our way through the dark Forbidden Forest, and every rustle of leaves made our hearts pound. We felt fear in our bones, but our determination was stronger. No one had ever ventured so deep into the forest, and we believed that today we would finally reveal the secret that had been whispered about in the corridors of Hogwarts for years. After hours of walking, we stopped in front of a wooden door overgrown with moss and old roots. To our surprise, the door was ajar. We exchanged glances, gripped our wands tighter, and slowly stepped inside. And at that moment, it was clear to us where we were – in Aberforth Dumbledore’s secret hideout. Decades had passed since the Battle of Hogwarts. After Albus's death, he was last seen disappearing into the darkness of the Forbidden Forest. He never returned. However, occasionally someone claimed to have seen the figure of an old wizard on the edge of the forest... but Aberforth would have to be over two hundred years old. There was also talk of the Elixir of Eternal Life. That he might have been able to mix it up. Or that he might have found the Resurrection Stone that Harry lost in the forest during the last battle. That's what kept us going - we'll figure it out today. The hideout was cozy, full of books and written parchments. On the table lay a chaos of old notes. We approached closer and began to leaf through them. But then a loud bang rang out. The door slammed and the lock clicked. Trapped. The wands were of no use, the spells scattered into the void. The only way forward was to find solutions, break the secrets and find out what the truth about the elixir of eternal life really was.
